Vad är Paint a brick?

Paint a brick vill främja de krafter som jobbar mot förtryck och för en jämlik värld.

Paint a brick tar avstånd från alla sorters förtryck som finns i världen, oavsett om det grundar sig i etnisk bakgrund, kön, art, sexuell läggning och/eller annan sort.

Paint a brick ser samhället som en stad med tegelhus. I alla dessa hus finner vi tegelstenar som representerar oss, vi som kämpar mot samhällets förtryck och strävar efter en jämlik värld. Paint a brick vill färglägga dessa stenar för att på så sätt visa att vi inte är ensamma.

Tillsammans kan vi bygga en bättre värld!

Vad rör det dig?

Paint a brick uppmanar var och en att ta del i kampen mot förtryck och att gå ut och påvisa sin existens genom att måla världen bättre. Välj ut din egen färg eller skifta från gång till gång. Välj sedan den sten i samhället som just du anser behöva lite färg. Måla den med omsorg med tanke på att denna ska fungera som en påminnelse till alla oss om att vi inte är ensamma.

För att kampen mot förtryck och för en jämlik värld ska spridas även i digitala former ser vi fram emot att ta del av er del i Paint a brick via mail och gärna då med bilder.

What is Paint a brick?

Paint a brick supports the forces that struggles against oppression and towards an equal world.

Paint a brick deprecates all sorts of oppression in this world irrespective of if it's based on ethnical background, sex, species, sexual disposition and/or other kind.

Paint a brick see society as a city with brick houses. In all of these houses you can find bricks that represents us, we who struggles against society's oppression and strive for an equal world. Paint a brick wants to colour these bricks to remind ourselves that we are not alone in this struggle.

Together, we can build a better world.

How does it concern you?

Paint a brick urge everyone to take part in the struggle against oppression and to go out and demonstrate your existence by painting the world better. Choose your own colour or change from time to time. Then choose that specific brick in our society that you think need some colour. Paint it with care considering that this brick will work as a reminder to us all that we are not alone.

To enable the spreading of the struggle against oppression and towards an equal world even in digital form, we look forward to taking part of your part in Paint a brick through mail and gladly then with pictures!
